Actually… Hex is based on stories from the catholic church… It’s all very interesting really…. The reason it’s so vague and confusing a lot of the time is they assume you already know the stories… quite creative really… It may do you some good to look it up

The comment had nothing to do with ” real life”, Its only entertainment. The statement that was made was simply to point out the fact that HEX is a mediocre simile of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Thematically the show is very similar but not done as well. Though Hex is very entertaining to say the least.

Yes, oh yes this is so Buffy - without the watchers, without the vampires, without a consistent plot, and without the martial arts. Though some of the characters are interesting - its pretty silly and hard to follow at times.
